The Committee agrees to the appointment of a second Enrolment Officer consequent on the transfer of an Executive Officer Class II to the Registration Branch of the Statistical Department. results in a saving of $1,010 in Personal Emoluments.

The Committee notes that unexpended balances of $100,000, $30,000, and $50,000 in respect of item 3 sub-items 1, 2, and 3 respectively are to be carried forward to 1950/51.

The Committee recommends the following changes in title of sub-items:-

School on King's College site to be renamed King's College

primary school (item 3 sub-item 11) Vernacular primary school to be renamed Gap Road primary school

(item 3 sub-item 12)

New airport to be renamed Deep Bay airport (item 9 sub-item 7)

The effect of these recommendations results in certain amendments to the Appropriation for 1950-51 Ordinance, 1950 which are detailed in the attached Appendix.
